Socialite Shanita Namuyimbwa, also known as Bad Black, has made a playful yet bold suggestion for Pastor Wilson Bugembe to marry former Miss Uganda UK, Dr. Jan Mukiibi, after the two were spotted together during a church service.
Dr. Mukiibi, who is well-known in the Ugandan diaspora as the 2017-2018 Miss Uganda UK, recently returned to Uganda. She is currently serving as an NHS Global Health Fellow in collaboration with the Ministry of Health to improve mental health services across the country.
During her visit to Pastor Bugembe’s The Worship House in Nansana, photos of Dr. Mukiibi sitting alongside the pastor sparked a flurry of comments online. The image seemed to inspire Bad Black, who, in her usual outspoken style, quickly suggested that Pastor Bugembe should consider marriage with the young doctor.
On Facebook, Bad Black shared a message, saying: “Dear Generation Pastor, this lady is perfect for you. I’m sure your heart is drawn to her just like ours. Ameen. She loves you, and I’m sure you see it too. She’s the kind of woman you need, just like Baby Gloria found the man she wanted. It’s your turn!”
Despite the playful tone, Bad Black’s post stirred conversations among fans, many of whom were excited by the possibility of a union between the two. Pastor Bugembe has, however, previously shared that he believes marriage will happen when the time is right, explaining why he has not yet tied the knot.
It remains to be seen whether the suggestion will lead to anything more than online chatter, but Bad Black’s matchmaking antics certainly added an amusing twist to the weekend’s events
