Baby Gloria has finally addressed the growing speculation surrounding her engagement to Mbaleka Jonas, clearing the air on concerns about his past relationships.
Speaking publicly for the first time since unveiling her fiancé, the popular star reassured her fans and critics alike that she has no doubts about Mbaleka’s history and is fully invested in their future together.
With their engagement now out in the open, some have questioned whether any of Mbaleka’s former girlfriends would reappear to create drama. Gloria, however, swiftly dismissed such concerns with confidence, emphasizing her knowledge of everything she needs to know about Mbaleka’s past. “The good thing is that I’ve got all his data,” she said. “First of all, I haven’t stolen anyone’s husband. He has no kids, thank God. So, there’s no skeleton to dig up.”
Far from feeling rattled by Mbaleka’s dating history, Gloria expressed that she actually values a partner with experience. “I too wouldn’t want someone who isn’t experienced. It is okay,” she explained. “Besides, he’s slightly older than me, so he’s likely had past relationships where he polished his love game before coming to me. I don’t want him to learn with me.”
She boldly declared, “If you want to come out and speak, that’s your business. But at the end of the day, I am the chosen one.”
Gloria, who appeared unfazed by any negative comments, placed her trust in a higher power. “Those who say it will end in tears, that’s your business. We have God,” she affirmed.
Adding support to her daughter’s stance, Gloria’s mother, Betty Nakibuuka, also addressed the situation, sending a clear warning to any of Mbaleka’s exes considering stepping forward.
“For those planning to come out as Jonas’ exes, we are watching you,” Nakibuuka stated. “You shouldn’t bother, whether you were with him or not. Just forget about it. He’s now my child’s man.”
She further urged Mbaleka’s past partners to leave their history in the past and move on
