Orlando, Fla. – The Miss America 2025 pageant crowned its winner, with Abbie Stockard from Alabama taking the title. The 22-year-old nursing student from Auburn University stood out among over 50 competitors from the U.S. and Puerto Rico at the pageant’s 104th annual event.
Stockard, hailing from Vestavia Hills, Alabama, was one of the top five finalists, with Miss Texas securing first runner-up, Miss Tennessee as second runner-up, Miss Florida in third, and Miss Ohio in fourth. Following her victory, Alabama Governor Kay Ivey congratulated Stockard in the governor’s office. Stockard joins the ranks of other Miss Alabama winners, including Deidre Downs (2005), Heather Whitestone (1995), and Yolande Betbeze (1951).
Along with her crown, Stockard received a $50,000 tuition scholarship. Meanwhile, the day before, Peyton Bolling from Arkansas was crowned Miss America Teen 2025. Bolling, a senior at Bentonville High School, made history as the first Miss Arkansas Teen to win the prestigious title.
